National Fund Executive Search

The National Fund for Workforce Solutions has begun searching for a new president and CEO. After a decade of leadership, Fred Dedrick will step down as president and CEO in early 2020. His decision to step down comes after a decade of leadership and at a time when the organization is in a strong position with a clear trajectory.

The next CEO will be identified by a search committee of National Fund board members, with additional support from Lynn R. Mayfield Consulting.

The next CEO of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions will have the unique opportunity to make an important contribution to addressing some of America’s most salient workforce development challenges, including assisting thousands of individuals participate in more satisfying and rewarding work that allows them to support their families.

The committee expects to have the next CEO identified and on board in March 2020, with no gap in leadership.

The National Fund for Workforce Solutions named Amanda Cage as its new president and CEO. Cage, previously of the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, will lead the organization’s work around good jobs, economic stability for all, and frontline worker advancement.
