Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Partnership

This partnership of employers, training providers, and community organizations is leveraging employment and training opportunities for airport and seaport incumbent workers and job seekers. Jobseekers and incumbent workers are served through Airport University, which develops gateway courses to hospitality, transportation, and logistics careers in collaboration with employers, Highline Community College, and the Seattle Community College District. The Apprenticeship Opportunities Project supports women and people of color applying for and entering apprenticeships and trades-related jobs in King County.

Manufacturing Advancement Pathways Project

SkillUp’s Manufacturing Advancement Pathways Project is designed to increase alignment and coordination between employers, regional community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and other workforce training agencies providing training for jobseekers and incumbent workers in the advanced manufacturing and aerospace sectors. It is also designed to strengthen recruitment networks for women and veterans, both of whom are severely underrepresented in manufacturing training programs and related employment opportunities.
