Consistent with its commitment to creating opportunity for all, the National Fund supports strategies that use industry partnerships to support young adults in developing in-demand skills, preparing for
a successful career, and securing a job. The National Fund has supported and studied more than 10 communities in its partner network to isolate successful practices and improve efforts to connect young adults to skills and work.
The Executive Summary briefly presents the report’s key findings on the following themes:
- The short history of young adult sectoral work;
- The National Fund’s Young Adult Initiative
- Lessons from the communities involved in the YA Initiative; and
- Recommendations to advance this work.
