National Fund for Workforce Solutions President and CEO Amanda Cage has been appointed to serve as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Advisory Council on Agriculture, Small Business and Labor. Council members serve a two-year term and meet twice a year to provide their views on current business conditions to Chicago Fed President Charles Evans and other senior officials.
Input from the Council members on regional economic conditions contributes to the Federal Reserve System’s formulation of national monetary policy. Cage’s participation on the Council will directly connect the Fed to information coming from National Fund regional collaboratives. This will provide a clearer picture of the economic reality on the ground in Chicago and across the country in the National Fund network.
