2020 CareerSTAT Webinar SeriesThe strength of the national CareerSTAT network is rooted in the power of peer learning. The ability to gain insights and strategies from a network of over 350 colleagues was invaluable as we navigated the three-pronged public health, economic, and racial justice crisis of 2020. We wrapped up the 2020 CareerSTAT Employer Best Practice Webinar Series in November. These webinars featured healthcare leaders and workforce practitioners sharing practices and strategies to address COVID-19 response and recovery, job quality, and racial equity and inclusion. You can find the recording from November’s webinar below and the entire 2020 CareerSTAT Webinar Series on our YouTube channel here. Supporting Workers’ Financial Wellness Through Economic DownturnAlmost half of low-wage workers find it difficult to “just get by” on their regular income. The economic fallout from COVID-19 makes the financial well-being of frontline workers even more precarious. Workers are bringing this stress into the workplace, and many employers are trying to do something about it. Learn about a new resource to help employers identify the right financial wellness program for their business and workers and hear how CareerSTAT leaders in Charlotte and Syracuse support frontline workers through financial wellness programs. Connect with PeersEven though the webinar series may be concluded, you can connect with your peers through the CareerSTAT Member Directory. You can learn more about our members, see what best practices they are engaged in, and access contact information – a feature exclusive to CareerSTAT members only.
