Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager
The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager will help to create a culture of continuous learning at the National Fund. They will be responsible for the collection and thoughtful analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Reporting to the Director of Evaluation & Learning, the MEL manager will collaborate with staff and stakeholders to develop systems to identify learning, assess what works, and measure progress against the objectives and outcomes of the National Fund’s Focus Areas and Priority Initiatives.
The position requires working in close collaboration and coordination with other team members. The MEL manager must also possess exceptional project management and relational skills as they will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of one or more projects. This may involve leading a cross-functional team, assigning and overseeing the execution of specific functions or phase of a project.
Desired Qualifications
- Industry credential, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience in a related field
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of program evaluation
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative methodology and software (Qualtrics, MaxQDA, etc.) and experience working with labor market information and/or census data
- Familiarity with data visualization and design, including data visualization software (Tableau, etc.)
- Experience leading projects, project planning, and grant management
- Experience facilitating online and in-person meetings
- Proficiency with Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and program management tools (i.e., ASANA)
- Demonstrated commitment to racial, social, and economic justice
What You Should Know
Work Environment
- Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday with core hours of 10:00-4:00 ET.
- Work location is flexible. Travel will be required 4-6 times per year for National Fund staff events and programmatic work. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for all employees.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $77,000-$96,000, depending on relevant experience.
