What It Means To Be a Champion
A Frontline Healthcare Worker Champion demonstrates sustained leadership commitment and operational support for a workforce development strategy that invests in the skills and careers of frontline workers adopts practices and policies to create diverse, accessible, and inclusive workplaces, and uses data to evaluate effectiveness, impact, and equity. A Champion creates a worker-centered culture of learning and leverages their influence to create organizational and regional change where employers, workers, and communities thrive.
CareerSTAT Frontline Worker Champions represent organizations across the country and the healthcare continuum. While all CareerSTAT Champions are making significant investments in the skills and careers of their frontline employees, recognition is separated into Champion and Emerging Champion organizations.
