The CareerSTAT Frontline Healthcare Worker Champion Program recognizes organizations that create good jobs and build equitable workplaces by making significant investments in frontline workers. |
Why Apply for Recognition?
Selection as a Frontline Healthcare Worker Champion gives employers national recognition for their efforts to build thriving and equitable workplaces through workforce development programs. Each organization receives customized marketing materials, will be featured during the National Fund for Workforce Solutions’ 2024 national convening, invited to share practices and programs through speaking opportunities and presentations, and provided access to peer learning and technical assistance to further their advancement programs.
A Frontline Healthcare Worker Champion demonstrates sustained leadership commitment and operational support for a workforce development strategy that invests in the skills and careers of frontline workers adopts practices and policies to create diverse, accessible, and inclusive workplaces, and uses data to evaluate effectiveness, impact, and equity. A Champion creates a worker-centered culture of learning and leverages their influence to create organizational and regional change where employers, workers, and communities thrive.
The application period to be recognized as a 2024 CareerSTAT Frontline Healthcare Worker Champion has closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted applications. The submission review and selection process is underway. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements.

Representing 51 organizations across the country and the healthcare continuum, CareerSTAT Frontline Worker Champions are creating business impact by investing in the skills and educations of their frontline employees. While all CareerSTAT Champions are making significant investments in the skills and careers of their frontline employees, recognition is separated into Champion and Emerging Champion organizations.
