Wilmington Alliance and the Wilmington is Working Collaborative join the National Fund network to improve workforce outcomes in the Wilmington region
Washington, DC, October 21, 2021 — The National Fund for Workforce Solutions welcomes Wilmington into its network of regional workforce collaboratives. A national implementation network fuels the National Fund’s mission. Regional workforce collaboratives bring together diverse community partners to help individuals develop new skills and access good jobs, businesses find trained employees, and communities generate inclusive prosperity.
Wilmington Alliance envisions a growing and equitable Wilmington workforce ecosystem that attracts, trains, and supports the Wilmington workforce to accelerate economic mobility for all. Wilmington is Working Collaborative coalesces key stakeholders in a collaborative approach to realize strategies that improve job access and retention.

By addressing complex issues such as disinvestment, recidivism, and education inequities, Wilmington is Working strengthens the workforce in ways that help the entire city of Wilmington and surrounding areas.
