The National Fund for Workforce Solutions Selected to Present at the White House for the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) What Works Showcase
The National Fund presented on the significance of employer-driven skills investment
Washington, D.C. (October 17, 2016) – The National Fund for Workforce Solutions was selected to present at the MBK What Works Showcase at the White House. The showcase focuses on bringing together organizations throughout the country that are finding and scaling what works best to help all youth in need, including boys and young men of color.
In a science-fair meets demo-day style event, the MBK What Works Showcase features more than 30 of the nation’s premiere organizations and interventions with rigorous evidence of impact across MBK’s cradle-to-college-and-career-goals. The event is co-hosted with the U.S. Department of Education, Campaign for Black Male Achievement, Laura and John Arnold Foundation, and Results for America.
“We are honored to be selected to present at the White House with our colleagues and peers who are all striving to advance opportunity and create a better future for our nation’s youth,” said “We are excited to share more about how employer-driven investments can truly and measurably improve lives and contribute to a stronger and more diverse national workforce.”
The MBK initiative is committed to using data to inform and improve service delivery, and working to develop and scale interventions with evidence of success to ensure all young people can reach their full potential.
