The Prudential Foundation has awarded a $1.5 million dollar grant to the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, which the foundation will pay out over three years, for an initiative aimed at improving the benefits that low-wage workers receive.
The $1.5 million from the Prudential Foundation will fund a campaign that the Boston-based National Fund has launched called “Better Skills, Better Jobs.” As part of this campaign, the National Fund will select organizations in 12 communities nationwide where the National Fund already invests in workforce training programs.
