America’s workforce is undergoing unprecedented change. In the wake of the pandemic and its impact on the labor market, workers are demanding more from their employers and and business leaders are paying attention.

At the same time, millions are out of work and many job seekers still face barriers to economic mobility as we navigate a rocky road to recovery. Workforce development is front and center in the national conversation.

That’s why a collaborative team of stakeholders and subject matter experts from several workforce-related organizations, including the National Fund, has developed a new field guide, which serves as an overview of key terms and concepts related to workforce development, which is one of the most important issues of the day.
