The National Fund just released a comprehensive report on its efforts to prepare young adults for successful employment. Connecting Young Adults to Skills and Jobs documents efforts in more than 10 communities to use industry partnerships to train and place young adults in successful employment.
The Executive Summary briefly presents the report’s key findings on the following themes:
- The short history of young adult sectoral work;
- The National Fund’s Young Adult Initiative
- Lessons from the communities involved in the YA Initiative; and
- Recommendations to advance this work.
